ZZ Top, got it right when they said " every girl's crazy bout a sharp dressed man." Today’s post is all about the guys – it’s the Groom’s Guide to Getting Wedding Day Ready ! We all know the bride gets the most attention from the second she has an engagement ring on her finger. That may distract from the fact that there are so many details to remember when it comes to the groom and his guys. Sure, it’s easy enough to pick out a tux or a suit, but the cookie-cutter days of all of the guys marching out like penguins is waning. We’ve put together a list of 4 things to remember that are all about the guys. It’s your time to shine, gentlemen !
Suit Up
Fit is key, make sure to invest in a good tailor gentlemen. There's nothing like a well tailored suit on a gentleman. What the groom and groomsmen wear can show more personality, like pops of color, bespoke tailored suits, and designer loafers. Before you do anything else, decide what look you’re going for: jackets or no jackets; ties versus bow ties; vests or no vests. There's nothing like a well-dressed groom. Of course, the definition of "well-dressed" varies from person to person, and is largely dependent on the wedding venue, level of formality, and man-of-the-hour's personal style. When it comes to wedding day fashion, no one groom's tux fits all. While the classic black-and-white tux will always fall into the dapper category, we love a man willing to take a risk. Whether that means swapping a black suit for something cobalt blue or opting for a velvet jacket, we're all for a guys expressing his personal style.

Step Out in Style
Want to make a statement on your wedding day? A man’s socks and shoes can say a lot about him and his own personal style. Get creative about your socks – by either choosing colorful ones, patterned or even polka dot. Have a favorite super hero or sports team? Show it with your socks! And as for the shoes, remember anything goes depending on what look you are after. Let you feet do some of the talking on your wedding day.
Groom’s Blooms
Boutonnieres are a simple way to tie the vibe together. Generally, it is made of a flower or flowers from the bride’s bouquet. The name of the game for 2020 wedding floral trends? Bold is better! Florals for both bride and groom this season have a hint of bohemian flair. They are subtle lush creating the perfect balance for any wedding theme you create. Your groom should look every bit as stylish as you on the wedding day, and a great way to make sure he stands out is to have him sport a stylish boutonniere. And while floral bouts are always lovely, let's face it—not all guys are into flowers. So if that's the case with your groom, then opt for a unique, non-floral boutonniere that complements his personality and attire. Foral example a greenery wrearth bout or a floral pocket square.
Grooming
On the day-of, the bride and her bridesmaids have a full day of appointments. The guys may want to enjoy the day on a golf course or “nerding” out together, but don’t let them forget their grooming. Book the day for a cool barbershop in town or line up an expert barber to come to the hotel and give them all haircuts that day. Does anyone need to tame their beard? Also, facials and massages aren’t just for ladies. Have the guys glowing by your side!
Personal style should play as much a role in the groom’s attire as in the bride’s ! Everyone can shine in style with a little forethought.
