What exactly is a Micro/ Pop-Up Wedding?

The definition of Micro / Pop-Up Wedding is a complete wedding, but on an intimate, tiny scale! Typically, they're the perfect choice for the couple that is craving all the beauty and details that go into the wedding day but want to skip the large guest list, months spent planning and the large price tag. Pop-Up Weddings can take place pretty much anywhere, from the couple's home town, or a gorgeous destination far, far away.

With a Pop-Up Wedding there's a beautifully styled venue, an itty-bitty guest list (usually between 4-50 of your nearest & dearest), with gorgeous flowers, delicious food, photography and tons of special details that help complete the dream wedding day. Just on a much smaller scale! They often take place during the week (Monday-Friday) or on a weekend during off-peak seasons. Occasionally these weddings are kept a complete surprise from everyone attending until the very last second! And, don't even get us started on how much we LOVE a Surprise Wedding!

Can I provide my own location?

Absolutely! If you already have a place chosen, just let us know. We will contact that location if necessary to determine prices and permits/restrictions.

Why the 50 guest limit?

50 is sort of an arbitrary number. But basically, we've found that once you surpass around 50 guests, the "feel" of the event changes, and guests' expectations are higher. Think back to any parties you've hosted. 50 can still feel manageable and small. Once it starts getting above that number, an event takes on a different vibe and often no longer feels intimate.

What should I wear for my Micro Wedding?

Whatever makes you happy! You can dress up or go casual. If you need some suggestions, either online or around town, we’d be happy to provide some.

Can I provide my own officiant?

Yes! If you provide your own officiant, your total package price will be reduced by $100.

What if it rains?

If you have chosen an outdoor location with no shelter, we highly recommend you also book a backup location. If you decide against that option, you may have to reschedule for inclement weather. See contract details for inclement weather policy.
